This is not an "open box" or "return" item
Note that this model and brand item are often listed on eBay as "Open Box" items.  That often means a "store return", which in turn can mean parts are missing but not necessarily recognized as such by the seller, many of whom obtain "store return" items at a large discount from whoever is selling them because their source may not have checked for missing parts, or may not have realized that parts were missing.  I've run into that situation personally more than once, when buying something that turns out to be incomplete.
Several of these that were listed as of the time this listing will begin have bright color (e.g., orange) stickers on them, visible in their listing photos.  That means the item is in fact a return.
Retailers often sell large lots of such items at a discount to resellers, rather than worry about shipping something that might have been used, might have missing parts, etc.   No matter what the terms the seller offers for returns, do you really want an increased risk of needing to return a potentially defective and/or incomplete product?
When you buy from this listing, on the other hand, you are getting a new, complete, unused, full factory sealed, product!
This is not an "Open Box" condition item wrongly listed under eBay's definition of "New"
Another same model item listed on eBay as of when this listing began, had a solid black rectangle on its front side in the main listing photo, that looks like it was added to that photo using a program like "Photoshop" to hide something.  This was packed in exactly the same type of packaging that the one being listed here is shown to be in, and there's no black rectangle on, or added to, the one I'm selling.
It was listed under eBay's condition category of "New".  To qualify for that eBay category it had to be new and sealed.  But see this line in the listing:  "This piece is new but there is a  hole in the outer packaging and no screws or bolts included."  If you looked at that item's listing photos, as I just did, you won't see such a hole -- but I assume that's why that solid black rectangle was added to the listing, to make it impossible to see how big, how jagged-edged, etc., that hole actually was.
They were selling that item below the price (including shipping) of just about every other example of that product that was listed when this listing will begin, but I ask you --
would you really want to buy that product from that seller, now that you can see how they tried to disguise the condition of what they were trying to sell?
Or you can buy from this listing with total confidence, from an eBay seller for over 20 years on this site, and not have to worry about what you'd be receiving (or be surprised once you got it).

.  Ebay used to be very strict about that, though apparently it is now possible, if done very soon after purchase, to arrange with the seller for a local pickup, confirmed in writing by messages between buyer and seller so that ebay will be able to review those messages and decide if to approve an after-the-fact decision by the buyer to want the "local pickup" option, rather than the otherwise automatic choice by eBay of shipping if no other choice was made before Checkout was complete, to apply.  Since I almost always my listings set up to have a one business day turnaround time between date of payment and date of shipment (this will sometimes be temporarily seen as 2 or more days, usually because I will be out of town for a few days and won't be able to ship as quickly as usual after a purchase), any post-payment wish to change your choice on this topic has to be done quickly so that I don't get a "ding" on my timely shipments record for not shipping as fast as the listing says I would do, that I then have to spend would could be an hour or more on the phone, trying to get ebay to remove.

IF YOU PLAN ON ASKING US TO SHIP TO A DIFFERENT ADDRESS THAN THE ONE EBAY CONSIDERS YOUR REGISTERED SHIP-TO ADDRESS, PLEASE CONTACT US BEFORE YOU BUY:
We sold this item once but were only told after the sale, by a message the buyer sent to us through eBay, that the buyer wanted it shipped to a different address than their official eBay address, which is the address eBay's label printing software would otherwise have used.  We tried several times to contact them about this, but the buyer never responded to us.  Shipping to a different address than eBay has for a buyer means eBay won't back us up, as the seller, under their "Seller Protection" program, if the package is lost in transit or if other covered problems come up.  In addition, an altered address often would cost us more to ship to than if the eBay recognized address was used.  Rather than take those risks we cancelled the sale and did not ship this item to that buyer, because of the address issue, something we'd rarely if ever in the past 20 years had reason to do.  If the potential buyer has similar plans, they should contact us in advance so that we can see if there's a way to accommodate their wishes about what alternative address they want us to ship to.
WE SHIP QUICKLY AFTER PAYMENT:
Our commitment on this sale is to get your item to the shipper within one business day after payment is completed.  And if a buyer is able to get payment completed by 11am California time on a non-holiday weekday (Mondays through Fridays), we are often able to ship the same day as paid.  We may ship the same day as paid even if paid later, but the later in the day payment is made, the less likely same day shipment will take place.   Since this item will likely be not economical for us to ship via USPS, please do not expect us to ship this on a Saturday.

RETURNS IN GENERAL

Please be sure to save all shipping and packing materials (box, padding, etc.) for the length of the potential return period, in the event a return is to take place.  If you have any questions at all about the condition of the materials, however, please contact us first to confirm that we would authorize you to re-use those materials in returning an item to us, since sometimes those materials get chewed up enough during initial delivery that they need to be repaired or replaced before being re-used.
NO-FAULT RETURNS
:  30 calendar day return time, running from date of first attempt at delivery by the chosen shipper to your ebay verified shipping address, if you return these for any or no reason in the same condition as sent, at your expense.  However, if you do something that causes one of these to fail in use, e.g., if you spill your drink into one of these and it shorts out and dies, that is a good example of something that would not qualify as a "NO-FAULT RETURN".
CLAIMED SELLER FAULT RETURNS:
Ebay lets you return almost anything within 30 days after receiving it, if what was purchased is not what the listing represented it to be, no matter what limitations a seller may try to put on the reasons for return (and many do).  Please see exact details as provided by eBay at the top of this listing.  To the extent that ebay allows it, you must use a shipping class and type that costs no more than what we used to ship your item(s) to you.

We aren't 'tax experts', but what we think the above basically means is that if you buy something on ebay that you would have had to pay sales tax on, if you'd bought it instead from a local store like a Best B
uy
store, etc., in your state, ebay might now add your state's sales tax to your purchase price. eBay would then send that tax money, that was part of the total that ebay had you pay, to your state.
We never see that money, so can't "refund" it. Even if you told us before you purchased the item, and sent us documentation to prove such exempt status, we as the seller have no way to stop eBay from adding state sales tax to what you bought. And even if you sent us documentation before or after the purchase, as some sellers have done with us in the past, and asked us either to refund the amount of tax paid, or if not yet paid, ask us to custom create an invoice that does not charge tax, our experience is that eBay will add tax anyway.
Some states may provide a way on your tax return forms to request a sales tax refund.
